<p>I'm trying to get into Mechanical Engineering for Fall 2010 and the stat looks ridiculously high this semester for some reason.</p>

<p>Internal</a> Transfer Historical Summary</p>

<p>Has anyone ever been successfully transferred into any engineering colleges in the cockrell school with a GPA lower than the minimum gpa?</p>

<p>Currently, my GPA is a 3.73 and I need a 3.8 to get on the pending list. I was told that my application was denied because I didn't clear the cutoff GPA. I did, however, clear every semester in the past so I would like to know what else I can do to get in. I have just started taking classes in the Mechanical Engineering program and I have finally developed a passion for classes. I don't know what else to do, please share your experiences and stories.</p>

<p>Wow, I had no idea it was that difficult to get into ME.</p>

<p>I’m not sure what else there is you can do other than raise your GPA and try again. If you don’t want to raise your GPA you could change to aerospace engineering instead. If I’m not mistaken, many AE courses are similar to what is learned in ME.</p>
