<p>Has anyone been admitted to Cockrell on regular decision yet?</p>
<p>On the MyStatus page it says that my “application for admission is in review”. However, I am guessing it says this for everyone now that the application deadline has passed? Btw I am a Texas resident with auto admission.</p>
<p>I’m not sure what you mean by regular decision (there is no early decision or early action for UT) but I was admitted to Cockrell for electrical engineering yesterday (it’s on MyStatus). I applied October 15 with a 33 ACT, 4.7/5 GPA, ranked 10/832, and lots of extracurriculars. I am a Texas resident so I was automatically admitted to the University. I haven’t heard anything from engineering honors yet though, and I haven’t gotten any letter or email from UT. </p>
<p>On social media I saw that a few people have been accepted. I’m an auto admit, and still waiting </p>

Congrats! I have similar stats and also applied on the 15th. I applied BME first choice and Chem E second. Hopefully I will hear from them soon.</p>
<p>I was an auto-admit, sent in my app late September, and heard back from Cockrell yesterday. I was admitted under mechanical engineering.</p>

<p>@Decisionmistake 34 ACT, 29/687 rank, various 4s and 5s on AP exams. 108.717 gpa weighted. I also sent in two rec letters that I believe were influential.</p>
<p>Nice. I have 34 superscore, but UT doesn’t do that. Still 36 math though. Then 5 on AP chem and 800 Chem SAT will hopefully help me with getting into Chem E. Unfortunately, my class rank is only 62/1000…</p>

<p>Accepted to Cockrell Electrical Engineering today (or no later than today, if that makes sense). 36 ACT, rank 82/612 (yes, it’s less-than-stellar, but it was due to a school transfer which went horribly wrong). 9 APS between soph/junior years.</p>
<p>In particular, I’m in-state and not auto-admit.</p>
<p>I was accepted to Cockrell electrical engineering last Friday (12/12) as an in-state, non-auto admit. I am within the top 9% of a class of over 1500 students, 34 ACT (36 math), 12 AP’s from freshman to senior year. Okay EC’s – officer for a couple of clubs, some science fair awards.
I sent my app in around Oct 12.
