I am having my alumni interview on Tuesday; I am both excited and very anxious..

Although I have written multiple threads of "chance me for Cornell Engineering," I am writing one last thread because it is the only thing I can do at this point since I submitted my early decision application a few days ago. I just want to see how Cornellians think about my chances of becoming one of their underclassmen... :p

My common app essay was about my passion for singing, and how it helped me become a mature person; my engineering supplemental essay was about my passion for robotics and why I should study at Cornell.

And this is what I wrote down in the additional information:

Coming to the U.S. in 2006, I had to take ESL and essentials classes when I first enrolled in the HS in the same year. Consequently, I advanced from ESL classes to regular classes in sophomore year, honors classes in junior year, and finally AP classes in senior year. Although I have constantly obtained As throughout the years, such process retadred my grade point average because our school uses the weighted grade system, and I was prevented from taking honors classes in freshman and sophomore year.

Teacher's recs and guidance recommendations will be fine! I wish!
My Guidance counselor's recommendation will emphasize the improvement that I've made throughout my high school years.

Cornell Engineering really is my first choice, and I have even talked to a few professors already. I really really hope in a few weeks I can post a thread, saying "I got accepted."
I will be ecstatic.
