Coed vs. All-guys floor?

What are the pros and cons of a coed floor vs. an all-guys floor in a coed dorm?

I don’t really mind all-guys floors. My freshman year I lived in a building with some mixed and some single-gender floors, and the guys on mixed floors would have to go up or down a flight of stairs to get to a bathroom, so bleh. Just because girls don’t technically live on all-guys floors doesn’t mean they’re never there, or that you’ll never see them anywhere else. ;)

My school has coed bathrooms on the coed floors.

personally I’d live on a co-ed floor, but that depends how nice the dorm is :)

I thought I would hate living in an all-guy dorm, but I’ve grown to love it. It’s a lot easier to be yourself and just relax when everyone around you is the same gender. However, having not lived in a coed dorm yet, I can;t say that that wouldn’t be better.

I lived in both a co-ed dorm and an all-guys dorm, I prefer the all-guys dorm better due to several reasons. No offense ladies, but most girls on my floor are obnoxious and loud late at night. Of course there are guys like this too but the girls seem to be the most frustrating ones to deal with at night. It’s also more comfortable when it’s all guys in the dorm most of the time. Thankfully, we have our own bathrooms though since it would suck having to use the toilet when you indigestion lets say…with ladies right next door…

I think I’d like a coed dorm.

Bros before h*s…
Less drama
