Coefficient of Friction

Im self studying physics B but i have no idea how to find the coefficient of friction, say on an inclined plane problem. I know that Ff=Fn+mu but how do i determine it when mu or Ff is not given?

if its on the incline, you find the angle, and you find the force weight. use trigonometry to find the parallel (thats your force ffriction) and the perpendicular (your normal force).
