I don’t think caffeine is a gateway drug. Its not really that addictive or harmful in regular doses. I don’t think it would influence anyone to try cocaine/heroin.

Although, it might influence people to try adderall or ritalin. Although thats probably rare.

Caffeine isn’t especially harmful, but it is addictive. And its status as a gateway drug is pretty well established at this point.

I can’t drink anything that actually tastes like coffee, because coffee’s gross. But fraps are the best. Today I had a grande cinnamon dolce latte in frap form. I’ll drink pretty much any frap. In the winter, I resorted to drinking things that tasted like coffee because it was cold and I didn’t want to fall asleep in math class (18:30 to 20:45, twice a week).

Tea is better than coffee, but I still have mine with sugar. Sometimes with milk too. Unfortunately, I discovered how delicious tea with milk is on a plane from Scotland to the US. My sister was very annoyed with me, to say the least. Then I was totally addicted to the stuff for a year. Had it everyday 7th bell, since my math teacher’s Eastern Kentucky accent sent me right to sleep, especially when she told stories on rainy Mondays. I’m huge on iced tea, but having a father from Alabama, I just can’t order it up North.
