Cognitive and behavioral neuropsychology program

I was interested in attending UCSD and i wanted to know how the classes are for psychology courses. Are they big? How are the professors? Is the behavioral neuropsychology program a bachelor degree? What should I know before attending?

Not a psych major, but lower division classes in any major are generally pretty big (especially things like PSYC 1, PSYC 60 which fulfill a lot of other majors’ GEs or prerequisites). It’s not unmanageable and discussions with TAs generally help out. The cognitive and behavioral neuroscience degree is a BS offered jointly by the Departments of Cognitive Science and Psychology. I’ve heard that UCSD’s psych program is a bit more math- and bio-heavy than your standard psychology track.
