Hello friends,

I heard through the grapevine that Berkeley has a choice cognitive science program.

Am I hearing the truth? If so, could someone elaborate on its greatness?

Thanks!

HI SARAH

im cog sci too!

Op: its not really a "grapevine" major...i think its fairly well-known in L&s

oo...ok...how hard do u guys think cog. science is?

I'm cog sci as well. As for difficulty, I would imagine not too bad; the CS courses might be tough.

yeah i think the cs courses will be the hardest too...but its really interdisciplinary more than any other major in l&s than i can think of...math, science, linguistics, computer science so even if you decide its not for you hopefully you can transfer your units to another major you prefer

cog sci fa sho.
however i've noticed introduction to cog sci class is lone and starts at 8.
8!
jesus...
i'm hoping that next semester maybe it'll change......

yeah kuksooo im pretty bummed about that too...so much for early morning wii tournaments lol ;)

hahaha. we need to meet up. cause i would destroy you. unit 2 if you want to be shamed.

i know this thread has been dead for quite some time now, but if there's still readers...

any one of you guys know what to do with a degree in cogsci? I'm quite interested in this major, but from what i've read, most people who graduate with this degree go into some type of computer business... Aren't there other options? What do you guys plan do do?

im premed...not really the convention i guess with this major but it seems to interesing to give up

Hey guys, I was wondering if you guys could give me any updates about the major since it has been a few years now? Thanks!
