How are the Cognitive Science/Neuroscience programs at UPenn?
Are they good compared to other schools?

(And what's the difference between the two majors? Is Neuroscience just more biologically oriented?)

How are the Cognitive Science/Neuroscience programs at UPenn?

(And what's the difference between the two majors? Is Neuroscience just more biologically oriented?)

There are several majors that are neuroscience related (Cog-Sci, Bio with concentration in Neurosci, Biological Basis of Behavior, Psychology; see [Major Departments & Programs](http://www.college.upenn.edu/majors/depts.php)), and each has a slightly different focus. There’s also joint programs with the computer science department in the engineering school.

Cog-Sci seems to be more computational/linguistic focused, while the bio concentration is obviously more biology-oriented. BBB I would say is a blend of psychology with biology.

Biological Basis of Behavior sounds interesting. What kind of job could someone get with that?

BBB has a lot of premeds, but graduates go on to do lots of things.

Here’s a list of where BBB graduates have gone on to do (think this is the latest, 2010 graduates) [Biological Basis of Behavior](http://www.vpul.upenn.edu/careerservices/college/majors/bibb.html)

More generally: [What can I do with my major?](http://www.vpul.upenn.edu/careerservices/college/majors/index.html)
