Cognitive Science Questions

I am a junior in high school considering majors. I have an interest in and a passion for cognitive science/computational linguistics/artificial intelligence. I believe that I have the drive and ability to study one of these fields at a graduate level and do well. I understand, however, that cognitive science as an undergraduate major would not be the smartest idea. My question is if a computer science major would potentially prepare me enough for the potential of graduate studies in cognitive science, etc., or if I should pursue interdisciplinary programs/major-minor/double-major (such as Trinity College’s interdisciplinary computing major). If I choose the latter, would such a track potentially harm my chances if I find myself needing to look for computer science jobs after college?

Thanks in advance.

You could major in computer science while taking cognitive science courses of interest as your out-of-major electives. Some areas of cognitive science overlap heavily with computer science, while others are much less related.
