Cognitive Science @ UCLA

I've been very interested in this major for a while now and would like to know more about it, particularly from UCLA students who may have experience with it. Is it recommendable to someone who is interested in both psychology + artificial intelligence? How strong is the program at UCLA compared to say, at UCSD? In the artificial intelligence/ Human Computer Interaction aspect? How is post-graduation job placement?

I'd appreciate any feedback regarding the major particularly @ UCLA or UCSD.

Thanks

I have no personal experience with the cogsci major but I’ve researched it. From what I can gather it would be recommendable to someone interested in artificial intelligence and psychology. I don’t know how UCLA’s program compares to UCSD, but I would imagine that either UCLA has a better program or they both have similar programs. As for post-graduation job placement… Good luck. I mean what the hek are you gonna do with a cogsci major? Only thing you can do is go to grad school…then after that either become a professor or scientists or something.
