I am heavily interested in Cognitive science at the moment, but I have been really questioning who would hire me after obtaining my bachelor. SO after these insecurities I decided that maybe minoring in computer science would be the right way to go. What do you guys think? I was also thinking of double majoring, but it seems pretty rigorous.

I’ve always assumed that undergrad in cog-sci is meant to prepare you for cog-sci in grad school. I can only assume that you would have a tough time finding a job with a BS in cog-sci, even if you had the minor in comp-sci.

If you can do the double major in cog-sci and comp-sci, definitely go for it. That way, you’ll be good to go if you don’t want to go to grad school since you’ll have the BS in comp-sci. At the same time, you may find you want to learn more and go to grad school for either cog or comp-sci.

I’ll admit, I’m a bit envious! I have a lot of interest in the brain but I took the electrical engineering route. Hopefully I’ll still be able to do work with the brain.
