@hezekiel I couldn’t see my decision either, but I think you’re accepted if you can see the option to accept your enrollment
Thanks a lot. @AnnaLuxe. Any other responses?
Can’t view decision. Confused.
I got in!!! OMG!!!
Accepted here and Macalester, Grinnell, but Waitlisted at Kenyon.
me too! freaked me out a little. I have decided to wait a couple hours and check again. If it is still there by tomorrow I will email them
i can’t view my decisions and i havent seen that option to accept enrollment so that is a sign i guess? sigh
@Emmaspirant sorry were u referring to my post? Sorry lol couldn’t tell.
nope…sorry the post before actually. That’s what i get for using the internet without my glasses!
Accepted!
Accepted with aid as an international. Extremely happy!
D was waitlisted…glad it wasn’t a front-runner choice. Congratulations to everyone who got in. And I agree with the person who said they thought many were waitlisted due to the huge increase in apps and not really knowing how to maintain a decent yield from them.
Do the invitations from the honors program come later like Fin. aid ?
i can’t find anything! when i log on it just brings me to the application status page. where did you guys find the decisions?
edit: never mind, found it! accepted here and at bowdoin and bates as well. rejected at middlebury but that doesn’t really bother me. thrilled!
Could someone tell me the tabs at the top of the myColby portal? I used to have a class of 2019 and now there is nothing and no way to check my application status. Also if you click on personal info by your name at the top, what are the tabs on the next page and are any of them new? Seems like my portal is screwed up.
@hezekiel Regarding the “unauthorized to view decision” problem, it seems to be just a browser issue. I had that problem too, but if you open it in safari, it will tell you your application status.
Actually I meant to say that i no longer have the class of 2019 tab, but the other tabs have always been there. Not sure what to do?
Is Colby flexible with giving more financial aid, as receiving no aid is ridiculous. A quarter million dollar education is simply not feasible for my family, and we’d need at least $20k a year. Shame there’s no merit aid here.
@sammythang1234
Anonymous Admissions Student Worker from Colby here,
Colby gives aid strictly on a need basis. If you CSS, FAFSA, and Tax Returns signify need, you will receive some kind of financial aid. If you are looking for more money, however, that is not possible. Once the number is set, you cannot receive more. Congrats to all acceptances!
Just wondering if anyone could help me out by checking their portal tabs and personal info tabs? It seems like my portal info was inadvertently omitted?? I honestly did not really check the portal much as Colby is not my first choice but would still like to know.
