Colby Letter?

I got a letter from Colby inviting me to spend a weekend in April over there, and they paid bus fare for it (for Boston students). It said your application is looking "good" or something like that, and that they wanted to give me a chance to visit Colby since I never visited it. Is that a good sign? OR do they send it to everyone who never visited Colby...

definitely a good sign. they wouldn't pay for you to visit unless they really liked you. good job, and congratulations!

Definitely a good sign! Sounds very much like a likely letter. Congratulations.

Yeah. cool!

yes that is great, but i dint do a colby interview! and now im worried that i should have..its not too late i hope

I believe it is too late for an interview at this point, but it seems Colby is quite interested in you without the interview. So I wouldn't worry about it.

Just got back home yesterday, and must say that I LOVED IT! It was sooo goood, the people up there are really really friendly and nice, and all the Colby students were awesome. I was a lil bit scared by the cold/snow but they said that its a record year for them in terms of snow. But everything else was good, they din't tell us officially if we are in, but there are plenty of signs to think so. Overall, im really happy with Colby and it is a really great scnool.

That's good to hear you liked my neighborhood! Haha the snowbanks are crazy, aren't they?

yeah they were crazy! i saw some colby kids playing in the snow which was pretty funny...seems that even though there is a lot of snow, college life goes on as usual, so its all good!
