anyone else flying/driving over for march 4-5 weekend?

i'm flying in... yay!

Hello--

Is this an invitation-only event? My D and I could not find any mention of an admissions event on the Colby web site.

Thanks

yeah..it's actually for minority prospective students, I believe.

Thanks for the info!

What should we do to prepare for this thing? I'm flying in as well...and am kind of lost as too what to do >.<

i'm excited. less than 6 hours before i head for the airport...

just bring yourself :) no preparation needed.

See you all there =)

So, how was the week-end? What did you all do?

I performed a couple numbers with one of the a capella groups and showed some students around =)-- sadly, I took one to a fairly boring lecture with an incredibly interesting teacher (the material was just so boring! I hope they got she idea from the enthusiasm of the prof though, heh).

Anyhue, I reiterate momofdd's notion: How was it and what did you all do?

i personally enjoyed it. my host was really sweet (and smart so now I'm worried about my decision) and the clubs performance was AMAZING. Next morning I visited three classes (calc, psych, and advanced ecology). the profs were good and the students were engaged and were all happy to be in Colby. there were a ton of events planned on sunday, but I got there late (2 flights delayed) and had to leave early the next day, but had a positive experience of the school overall.
