Colby or Bates - an arbitrary choice? - within the week

I have narrowed down my colleges to Colby and Bates. Colby seems to have a slightly more "earthy" population compared to a more "artsy" Bates. I was wondering, specifically, about the econ, envisci, and political sci/policy classes offered at each class - in addition to anything you have to say about the differences in the social scene. They both seem like great options, I just feel like choosing one over the other right now would be totally arbitrary. I might as well flip a coin.

Thanks for your help in advance!

The economics program at Colby is very good, and Colby is ranked better in most years (this year is out of the ordinary). Colby is generally thought of as a slightly better school, although they are both very good. The campus is also considerably nicer. Whatever you decide, good luck!
