Congrats to all who have been admitted…I remember just how stressful that process was last year but trust me when I say you didn’t go wrong with deciding to go gate!!
Can someone please tell me Colgate’s SAT score policy? When I go to “submit scores” on collegeboard, it says that Colgate requires that all scores be submitted. However, nowhere on their website does it mention this, and they do not require scores to be submitted through collegeboard. So did you guys report all of your scores?
This shows what Colgate’s policy is. A recent change allows applicants to submit scores without bearing the reporting fee. But however the score is submitted, Colgate Admissions will validate those scores to ensure the application is correct in terms of what has been submitted.

I received my notification yesterday (they never sent me an e-mail, but it was on the portal). I am from the Midwest and had originally applied regular decision, but changed it to ED 2 weeks ago.

ACT: 34 (English 36, Math 36, Reading 35, Science 30)
UW GPA: 3.8/4 (rough freshman year (3.6) because I was new to school, but I got it up to a 3.9 in junior and senior year)
School: Very competitive private school
AP’s: APUSH (4) AP World History (4) - My school doesn’t teach to the AP so I had to study for these entirely on my own.
EC’s: Sports captain, club president, 3 sport athlete, Editor of a magazine, top editor of schools online newspaper, robotics team member and captain, award winning artist, backstage theatrical work, 3D printed a prosthetic limb as a personal project, etc. In summation: I do way too much!
Essays:
Personal essay: 9.5/10
Supplement: 6 or 7 /10

I switched mine from RD to EDII and I got in. Public School FL, ACT 30, 3.6/4.0, In IB with 11 APs. Top 10% in school. Main EC: Captain of tennis, Pres of National Hispanic Honor Society, Pres of Social Studies Honor, In English Honor, National Honor, and Math Honor. 400+ service hours at local church. Heavily involved with music with multiple superior ratings at state competitions Considering FSU (received highest merit scholarship, Honors, and a special undergrad research program) UF(Very good aid because in state tuition and in Honors), Rutgers ( Honors and I have fam in NJ). Waitlisted at : Kenyon, Whitman, GWU. I think they reaaallly look at the supplemental essay because Gary Ross, VP of Fin aid, wrote on my acceptance letter saying he really enjoyed my opinion in my essay.
