I don’t know, I feel like I have a good shot, but I guess I’ll find out tomorrow
@smileeokay and @johndee731 I really hope you guys get in!!! You both have really impressive stats. :))
Oh and I forgot to say that I took 3 AP’s last year and I’m taking 7 AP’s this year
Thanks, @kitten2399, I hope we both do!
It is like midnight in my country when the decision come out. lol
I have a 32 ACT and 3.9 GPA. Good amount of AP and dual enrollment classes. Solid ECs but I’m a little worried about my Colgate essay. Also I had to be homeschooled for half of my sophomore year because of a severe concussion which affected my grades and therefore my GPA. The school knows that though so hopefully they take that into account. My junior year precalculus teacher wrote me a special letter of recommendation because he went to Colgate. I’m expecting a rejection but I’m super nervous!! I can’t beliebe decisions are finally coming out!
school: public
minority status: Asian American
GPA: 98.21/100 (unweighted), 100.93/100 (weighted)
class rank: 3/261 (weighted)
SAT (superscore): 1480 (750 on math, 730 on english)
SAT Subject tests: [Math I] 720; [Biology M] 680 (took both only once, so could have done better if I took again)
EC: started a fundraiser for Operation Smile; varsity tennis, class treasurer, National Honor Society treasurer, math league, key club
Common app essay: really good (based on my opinion as well as others who have read it)
Colgate supplement essay: good but not amazing
Recommendations: didn’t read them but I’m guessing they are really good
I hope I get accepted into Colgate, but idk bc they have an acceptance rate of about 28% which is the same as Northeastern, which I got rejected to 3 days ago.
@neuroscience27 lol I’m nervous too!! :-S I really hope they do take that concussion you had during sophomore year into account, and you get in. It seem as though you really work hard throughout high school with those stats
@mathfish I hope you get accepted as well!
@kitten2399 Thank you! Same to you
Thanks so much @kitten2399 best of luck to you!
Waitlisted with a 1440 and 3.9 gpa
