@fruitcake13 Not a whole lot lol… This year is not quite going as I planned, and I’m not exactly satisfied with the cards I’ve got in my hands. At this point, I’m still waiting on Emory, Haverford(I’m on spring break so I will have to wait until I get back), Cornell(my current top choice), and hopefully UChi(waitlisted). If there’s no more yes’s, I guess I will go with Colgate.
omg same here! @TrazCapDEV
i only have rejections so far, except for Colgate (even from universities that are VERY less competitive than Colgate). I think it’s because i’m requesting a HUGE amount of financial aid (I’m an international btw). I got rejected UChicago after being deferred EA lol. And I’m waiting for only Columbia (top choice) which i heard is very generous in terms of international aid although not need-blind. But I mean it’s Columbia so I need as much luck as I can get. And good luck for all you people waiting for the big decisions!
what are your stats btw @TrazCapDEV
oh and let’s hope we both get into our top choices!!! @TrazCapDEV
@fruitcake13 lol I was actually rejected ED columbia, good luck!
ACT 34/35 superscored, decent GPA, standard ECs, good recs. Nothing really stands out, so I guess that’s the problem.
@TrazCapDEV im so scared! 3 more days! Good luck with Cornell!
This thread has gotten very quiet. Anyone received a transfer acceptance yet?
Hey guys, what message did it appear on Colgates admission portal after they finished reviewing your applications?
Was it something like this:
Colgate’s Office of Admission has appreciated the contact we have had with you through your college search. We understand that you are eager to learn the outcome of your application. The application review phase for transfer admission is now complete. We plan to communicate our admission decisions within the next week. We do not display decisions on the portal and we do not give out decisions over the phone. We thank you again for your interest in Colgate and give you our best wishes for your college career.
Do all accepted candidates have the same message on their portal?
Anyone know when transfer decisions will be mailed or if they have been already? ^ I have that message too.
They say on their website they are done with the transfer review phase. I guess we should be hearing from them around next week. It was very quick though… not event a month. I’m assuming they either accepted very few transfers, or maybe they didn’t accept any at all.
Have any transfers heard anything at all? I thought decisions were meant to go out today? And does anyone know for international students if they are mailed or emailed??
I called yesterday. Admissions said the decisions will go out on 18th for transfers.
Has anyone heard from them yet?
