We're only allowed 250 words. Does that mean we are allowed to have one giant paragraph or should we have the traditional intro, body, conclusion?

Supplement:
We honor the many different forms of diversity in our community. Your perspective is valuable because it comes from your life experiences, family background, culture, and traditions. Please tell us about a tradition that is important to you that comes from your family, community, or culture.

However you see fit 250 words is generally half-page so it would be a big paragraph or two little paragraphs. It’s kind of like an “elevator talk” where you only have 30 seconds to say it all.

Use whatever number of paragraphs seems reasonable, but I’d avoid the classic intro paragraph, body, conclusion paragraph format. This isn’t really an essay, but a brief written statement. I think breaking it into two (or maybe three . . . ) paragraphs will make it easier to read than one long paragraph. Just write what you want to say and break it up according to different points or aspects of your statement. Good luck to you.
