We were 2022 and there was actually parent events during the day that officially ended at330. This is my 4 th that went off to college and all the smaller schools had parent programming on drop off day.

I’m late to this thread. After the social in the afternoon parents are expected to leave campus. It was hard but we did it. I have a freshman this year as well so it’ll be a little easier. Basically the students are off to their groups at that point and you say goodbye. If it’s any comfort, daughter had the best year of her life despite us all sobbing for a good week.
