My son has been accepted to West Chester University, Mason Gross School of the Arts and Rowan University for their B.M. music ed program-with a major in voice. Any advice as to which one he should choose?...of course he only has until May 1!!!! Thanks!

Welcome, leep59! You might also want to post the same inquiry to the Music Major forum. [Music Major - College Confidential](Music Major - College Confidential Forums)

Thanks TXArtemis!..I just did…altho I’m new to College Confidential and am just learning to navigate the site!

West Chester has a great music program! The drum majors from our HS go there every summer for a special camp and it’s not been unusual for them to choose to go there for college.

Is cost an issue? If so, make sure you have that in the picture too.

@cptofthehouse…the cost of all 3 of them is roughly the same…

I don’t know anything about Mason and Rowan, but I do know that WCU has an incredible music program; all courses in all the colleges are taught only by professors, WCU has a new Performing Arts Centre, the music majors are very bright and intellectual, also very confident. West Chester is also a nice town and offers lots of opportunities for getting involved with music.
