College acceptance question

I wan't to get into Iowa State University, but I am afraid that they won't let me in right of way. I did not do so good GPA wise but I did not fail any classes my average GPA for my freshman and sophomore year was was like 1.5 my freshman and sophomore. I transferred at the beginning of freshman year I was pretty shy being at a new school and all. But I was able to pull my self together and bring my grades up junior year going from an average 1.5 GPA to an average GPA of 2.7 during my junior year. I am in my senior year now and I am planning for my GPA to be around 3.5 I am taking one AP course, and that is AP CHEM, but I am also taking two community college classes and I doing really well in all my classes, and I have started practicing for the ACT pushing myself so I could get the best grade possible. Could I still get into Iowa State If have shown significant improvement my junior year, and planning to hit it out of the park my senior year?

What does your HS guidance counselor advise? Has your school successfully sent other to Iowa state with your similar grades/background? That’s of infinitely more useful in predicting your chances than random internet strangers’ guesses.
