Advice! Applied to my college of choice in October & received my letter of not being accepted. But letter said I could ask for re-evaluation. Here is the situation: my freshman & sophomore year I attended a college preparatory school, where the grading scale was much different, for example an 85 was considered "honors". I left that school with an 85 average and transferred to a public school for my junior and senior year and my average at the public school is 97. Believe me, I did everything possible to show & tell about the difference in grades the first time. Everything was sent in perfect. Now I am sending in another transcript that shows an increase in class rank, but does anyone have suggestions for admissions to definitely reconsider my application. I never thought that I would be in this position! Any advice would be very helpful!!!!

Have your GC write a letter explaining the grading difference. Send an update with any awards, significant achievements that you've gotten since you originally applied.

That was included with the original appllication. Anything that could be included with the original application was. And now I am just trying to figure out how to get admissions attention!
