Wishing, That is wonderful!!! I join Momofthree in wishing your Daughter the best at Bryn Mawr. I know two Bryn Mawr alums who loved their time there, I'm sure your duaghter will too!

eadad
can you elaborate how your D got word of scholarship $ and honors at U South Carolina? Was it a separate mailing? And if so, about how long after the first mailing was it? S got the "big" envelope and today a "Seasons Greeting" card but no mention of $$ or Honors. He did fill out the extra Honors/McNair Scholarship application.
Thanks for your time
Cathy

So much good news!! we are still waiting... waiting... waiting. I'm jealous. But good friend of S2 was admitted ED Dartmouth so we are basking in his glow. Congrats to all!

Doing the happy dance here in San Diego. D. received the "fat envelope" from Beloit today. This was the first acceptance that truly made her spin around in happiness. It was also an incredibly personal acceptance letter, which is exactly how why D. applied there in the first place. I am so happy for her!!!

Congratulations to you all!!!

Congrats to all your children as the news trickles and then roars in. Eadad, some lovely outcomes. MomofWildChild, my S has a good buddy who is a freshman at GA..very great college town, and he is quite happy. My S also has a son in the Sports Management program at Univ of SC which indeed is a fine program. So many other familiar names..happy news. Carolyn, good luck with those last minute extra apps, but lovely for her options that are already there for her! We got right chummy with the staff of the last Post Office open in our city on dark December evenings last year when my son did his incredible turn at causing the whole family Postmark Traumatic Applications at the Last Minute Disorder.

carolyn, congratulations on Beloit! That's truly fantastic, and I'm so happy for your D and yourself. She'll have some great choices.

eadad and wishingandhoping - great news, congrats to both of you. Enjoy the ceremonial burning, too!
