Sorry for popping in here, but carolyn, congrats on your D's acceptances! 4 and below schools applied to... Thanks for the advice about Beloit. I'm waiting to hear from them!

Aneol,
I am so delighted to hear of your acceptance to Redlands. Redlands was the only California school that my daughter really, really liked. It is a terrific school, and I was very impressed when we visited --- congratulations!!!!!

Congratulations Carolyn!! four for four fantastic!

Anoel, By the way, take Lamom up on her offer to connect you with her son. My daughter had lunch with him when we visited, and he was a wonderful host and happy to share the full skinny on Redlands from an honest perspective. I have no doubt that he was a big part of why Redlands ended up high on my daughter's final list. (Thanks again Lamom...)

Izzy, Good luck! I'll be watching to see when you get your acceptance. If you applied in December, it should be any day now.

Anoel
Congratulations on Redlands! My son was accepted there, too! I'm impressed with this college....everything they do is so classy! The bassoon professor just wrote a very personal email, talking about the dept. and answering my son's questions. She must have seen his application because she also referred to some of his other interests.

Just checked my email...I got in..I got in Beloit. Oh my God...OHMYGOD!!!! With a scholarship, too!! dances And as an intel, too!!! sweeeeet

Congratulations Carolyn! Very nice!

Congrats Carolyn and Carolyn's D!

Way to go Carolyn's D! And congrats to Izzyj!

IzzyJ, Congratulations to you too!!!!

Great Izzy! maybe you'll be with Carolyn's D next year!

Carolyn...your daughter done good...four out of four.....all that hand wringing and cheerios, etc.....what a great outcome! And Goucher....it came through....a school you looked into real well and have touted for others....great on the merit offer, a very nice affirmation.

KathieP....woohoo for your son! I remember when you came up to VT to visit Champlain and now he is IN! congrats on all his acceptances.

Congrats to Twinmom's twin on Brandeis and same with Quiltguru's D!

Mighty impressive results for all these kids and it is only early Feb.! I wish my kids had all this in hand at this juncture in their admissions process but the wait was way longer. Enjoy every moment and you can now breathe (a little at least).

Susan

Izzy!!! Congratulations!!!! One of the things that really struck my daughter was how much a part of the community Beloit's international students were --- Beloit doesn't just talk about internationalism, it lives it. I'm so pleased for you!!! I just sent you a PM by the way.

KathieP --- Congratulations on Champlain and York! Because of your comments after you visited York, and Fendergirl's experiences, I have suggested it to several kids here in California. It is great to hear that your son was accepted there!

KathieP, I don't know how I missed your post. I just scanned for it and still could not find it. I see here that your S just got into Champlain!!! Congratulations!! I think he will really like Burlington, should he decide on Champlain. It is such a nice area.

Had to edit this, b/c I just found out that your son got into York too!! Very nice!!

Congratulations to those accepted to Brandeis today!!

carolyn - congratulations! So pleased to see your good news. Obviously Goucher really wanted your D to attend. She really has some great choices.

IzzyJ, bostonpops - congratulations! That's wonderful news for you.

By the way, it will be great if we can turn the last posting of the acceptance season, with everyone's final list of acceptances, and rerun it to post which schools everyone decides to attend. That will be fascinating.

I decided to wait until these were all in to post:
(In no particular order):
Case Western (EA)
University of Montana
University of Rhode Island (EA)
Universty of Illiinois-UC
DePaul University (EA)
Westminster College - UT
Purdue University

7/7 !!

I already got merit aid at some of them; I'm still waiting on the final word from others. I'm also waiting on news from some Honors Programs, which I group with aid. Like the acceptances, I will post that after everything has been finalized. As it is, I'm incredibly grateful and happy to have an acceptance rate of 100% and thank you for all your help over the years. Congrats to everyone!

Wow...wolfpiper...that's AMAZING. in awe You're, like, the third person I know who has a clean sweep of more than one ED school. :D

Congrats!

And thank you, to all the parents who congratulated me!

Congrats Carolyn to your daughter. She did a GREAT job targeting her 4 or less schools!!!!!! 100% success rate! You both did a fantastic job!

CONGRATS from my family to yours
