jmmom - LOL I won't tell. BTW, the fight song I hum to myslef is UMich's, which I think is the absolutely best college song in the world.

Two points about the master list of acceptances: if we get many more acceptances - which thank goodness, I'm sure we will!! - we are going to run out of space. I got a message today that says we're bumping up against the space ceiling.

Moderators - do you have a suggestion about our space problem? I know I'm not supposed to speak to you directly, so please pretend I didn't (please?)

Also - hope I don't offend anyone when I say this with obvious tongue in cheek, but in reviewing the list (a very pleasant thing to do), I noticed that Jesus got accepted to Yale. Hhhmmm. Does that mean Harvard rejected Jesus, or Jesus rejected Harvard? And would Jesus need all 4 years to graduate?

I'm more of a lurker than a poster on this site but couldn't resist the opportunity to congratulate you on your D's acceptance to USC. I, too, am a Trojan parent

I haven't been here since December and am so impressed with the activity here. Thought I'd chime in with DD's acceptances so far. We're still waiting on some schools but she is in at the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst with a Director's Scholarship as well as the Abigal Adams Scholarship for high MCAS scores in MA. She has also been awarded a Presidential Scholarship at Northeastern University (11K/year.)

Ann and Hayden, congrats on the fine offers your kids received!
Katwkittens, your son's list is absolutely impressive and he must be some outstanding young man....good luck deciding from those choices! Ah, such problems :)

Andi....wahoo on your son's acceptance to MIT! A long wait but well worth it. I bet that year off, which seemed rather disappointing last year, has really paid off for him. He did some great activities during the year and had a well balanced college list this year and in the end, success has come and it has all been worthwhile, even if not the original plan. Mucho congrats to him!
Susan

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!! He was late coming home from work and I had to wait an extra hour to find out. I thought I'd expire before he got here. Then the mail carrier arrived just as he was checking online and when I looked in the basket there were no big envelopes so I had some serious momentary panic.

Mootmom I hope to see you there!!!!!!!!!

To anyone reading this who wasn't accepted there, I commiserate more than you can imagine. Believe me - we've been in your shoes. You'll get past this, have faith.
