Congratulations to the children of menlopark (go big green!), LydiaHawk (always nice to get a good FA package), quiltguru (no shock here - you have an amazing daughter), csshsm (how on earth will she make a decision?), and CURMUDGEON!!! (any reference to "long strange trip" must be accompanied by Jerry, not Jim, but I'll let this one slide since you are obviously spooking your goats).

Wow......GuiltGuru....Harvard and Yale.....you are this year's TexasBandit!!

Cur's daughter in at Yale....it is just too thrilling to not chime in with congrats from this corner of the country. Very, very pleased for all who are celebrating their options.......

Congrats to all. What a great list of colleges. We need a new thread for when decisions are made. This is so exciting, but I know there is a lot to sort out and consider. Way to go!

Son was accepted to Dartmouth tonight! wahoo! Bit disappointed to be rejected by Yale (after EA deferral) but the Dartmouth acceptance is making up for it in a big way. Only one more to hear from and we are done. Congratulations to all on the wonderful news today!

Congrats all! wowie! Mudge got accepted to Yale!! I told you all that being a tuba playing goat herder state champ b-ball center from Texas was a HOOK !!!!

Starting all over again (dog stepped on my power cord)

First of all congrats to everyone on the wonderful list of acceptances, your kids are going to such amazing places.

Gotta shout out to my people who I have watched on this incredible journey :

Kat- I agree with thatmom, there is a how-to-book inside of you (ok, know you know what you can do once you send off your last kitten). What a wonderful list of acceptances.

Yomama- how the time has flown, I still have the first PM you sent me at the beginning of all of this. She's done good !!

Curmie- I ain't leaving the bar at SA any time soon because you'll be buying lots of drinks. What a year what a year for mudgette !! Congrats.

Quiltguru- we know that there is a Harvard Yale rivalry, but for the next couple of weeks it's gonna be in your house as your D decides. The great thing is no matter what school she chooses she will be going somewhere great. Wow, Congratulations.

Mum2boys and Menlopark- Hopefully my future home peeps on the parent front. Welcome to Hanover :D Dartmouth really is a great place!!, Congrats to both of your sons.

CONGRATULATIONS, everyone - to the CC parents as well as to the students. Celebrate your victories!

I offer you a complementary bottle of perfectly chilled (and VERY expensive) champagne with an appetizer of imported caviar on (brown, not burnt) sourdough toast fingers, followed by a palate cleanser of persimmon sherbet, then a dish of large ripe strawberries dipped in warm Belgian milk chocolate. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm - zero calories - enjoy!

I was accepted to Columbia College- COlumbia University. I can't believe i broke through 9.6% acceptance rate. I'm so amazed yet still stinged by yale's waitlist and harvard's rejection. But overall i'm happy

Congratulations to all --- what wonderful outcomes for so many deserving kids and their families!! Best of luck through the next month of decision making---but first take some time to just bask in the glow of these incredible accomplishments!
