College Acceptances: celebrate here!

<p>Congratulations to the children of menlopark (go big green!), LydiaHawk (always nice to get a good FA package), quiltguru (no shock here - you have an amazing daughter), csshsm (how on earth will she make a decision?), and CURMUDGEON!!! (any reference to "long strange trip" must be accompanied by Jerry, not Jim, but I'll let this one slide since you are obviously spooking your goats).</p>

<p>Wow......GuiltGuru....Harvard and Yale.....you are this year's TexasBandit!!</p>

<p>Cur's daughter in at Yale....it is just too thrilling to not chime in with congrats from this corner of the country. Very, very pleased for all who are celebrating their options.......</p>

<p>HOW TERRIFIC! Congrats to mudgette and all! L.Hawk - we LOVED our visit to Carleton. It sounds like a very special place. Congratulations!</p>

<p>Son was accepted to Dartmouth tonight! wahoo! Bit disappointed to be rejected by Yale (after EA deferral) but the Dartmouth acceptance is making up for it in a big way. Only one more to hear from and we are done. Congratulations to all on the wonderful news today!</p>

<p>I offer you a complementary bottle of perfectly chilled (and VERY expensive) champagne with an appetizer of imported caviar on (brown, not burnt) sourdough toast fingers, followed by a palate cleanser of persimmon sherbet, then a dish of large ripe strawberries dipped in warm Belgian milk chocolate. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm - zero calories - enjoy!</p>

<p>I was accepted to Columbia College- COlumbia University. I can't believe i broke through 9.6% acceptance rate. I'm so amazed yet still stinged by yale's waitlist and harvard's rejection. But overall i'm happy</p>
