Wow!! I nearly strangled my own neck in envy… when I see the fellows’ acceptances to great universities like MIT, Cornell and UChicago… ^----^

^ can’t agree more …

There is solace to be found, definitely, in the notion of a gap year- giving those scores and ECAs a boost, along with a planned approach (helped by this year’s knowledge and experience) is bound to deliver better results, wouldn’t you think?

yes, scores could be boosted…ECAs, some how, are difficult… If you start doing something that you never did, then obviously, you are inviting problems…
and yes, this year’s knowledge and experience can be very very helpful…

Once vivaciousakrish said, if only we could pay 40K ( or even 25) , our lives would have been different…

one more Franklin and Marshall acceptance-full need met

got an acceptance letter from St.Olaf with full need met.
I had emailed them stating I wanted to withdraw my app coz i got into dickinson but they sent me the decision.

@whomi1: congrats. did Dickinson also meet your full need?

@whomi1: congratulations!!

And all the best to all the other applicants…

@ whomi1 --congrats …btw where are u planning to attend?

Would an acceptance from a college you already withdrew from (mentally if not in reality) change your mind? Probably not, one would think.
