College Admission officers and AP's

Alright so I was browsing collegeconfidential and there was a really good question that I found, that I'd like to ask.

Do college admission officers see your senior year AP classes you take?

Like, as for me, I took only 1 AP class Junior year and then this upcoming senior year I'm taking like 6. I know that WashU has a place where you can list your senior class schedule, but that's only one university. Do other colleges do the exact same and see your senior class choice when their reviewing your file?

Thanks in advance.

Your transcript should show the classes you are currently in (well mine does).

oh seriously? like even your senior class schedule though you don't have grades for them? that's awesome, lol too bad my school doesn't do that :(

uh...by the time they get your transcript it should have your 1st semester grades on there. In any case, you have to show them the grades you earned in your senior courses in May when they request a final letter from you.

For many schools, there's also a section on the guidance counselor form for your current year classes.

Although it is not calculated into your GPA, colleges will see your grades from your first quarter. So, be sure to work as hard as possible your first marking period to show that you can suceed in upper level classes.

haha... I was homeschooled... didn't report my senior grades at all. i guess they just assumed i could succeed.

ceecee

Where are you going to college? If grades don’t matter, how did you get into college? SAT 1, SAT2, AP?

^UWisc..... i just didn't report my first semester senior grades. all other grades i did report.

yes, i also sent in sat i, three sat ii, and self-reported AP scores.

you put down your Senior schedule on your application..
optionally, you can also include your past ap scores.
