<p>I just wanted to know what happens if I fail to send my transcripts and school reports by the deadline. Also, i read that early decision is binding, means if i get accepted I have to go, is that true?</p>

<p>Just let them know if you decided not to apply ED, email will do. Or ask to be moved to RD.</p>
<p>No one can force you to go to a college. But applying ED is a contract you agree to go if the aid package is acceptable, otherwise you can get on a list of people who didn’t honor the contract and other colleges can look at that unfavorably.</p>
<p>Some colleges will still accept your ED application if you get you app in, and give some grace period on the supporting materials. Others will move you to RD?</p>
<p>OP: Why would you not send your transcripts? Do you not want to attend that college?
Talk to your guidance counselor about what to do.</p>
