College Admission, Undergrad

I just have a question, it is kind of confusing. I have had one semester of college. I earned my credits, but I want to apply to another school as a first time freshman. The credits I earned do not go with my degree plan. Can I apply as a freshman, and not a transfer?

Each college/university sets its own policy about this. Some will consider you a transfer applicant if you have completed one credit after high school graduation. Others will consider you a freshman applicant if you have completed less than a full year of college. You need to contact each of the colleges/universities on your list and ask them.

Whether you are a freshman or a transfer applicant, you will need to provide an official copy of your transcript from your first college. It is part of your permanent academic record.
