College Admissions and Mental Health

Hello!

In middle school, I struggled with some mental issues. Been recovered for 3 years now. I’m not planning to write about my experiences need in my essay, but I do have some concerns.

One of my peers, another girl who struggled with mental health issues, started an initiative. She started a website with a blog section and even taught classes.I thought it was a great idea, and even wrote a blog post for her about my story. It was uploaded to her website.

Now her site is rather inactive, and she isn’t actually running the initiative anymore. Will college admissions find this blog post?

I asked her about removing the post, but it may not be possible since she doesn’t actually run the site anymore.

What I struggled with back then is not something a struggle with now. I have decent grades, and I really hope this does not hold me back. While I’m not ashamed of what I did struggle with, I do know there is a stigma surrounding mental health and that is truly very sad. Any advice would be appreciated!

I would like to be a psychology undergrad major and then go to grad school for physical therapy.

btw I’m reposting this since I posted it under another section before yikes

Thanks!

The admissions office does not have time to randomly search the internet for information about you, especially without cause. You will be fine.

thanks!
