college admissions chances??

okay heres a little background about me, i’m currently 17, in end of 8th grade i began having depressing thoughts about life after death and eternity, questioning my religious beliefs and ultimately making me sleep for two weeks bed bound sad, these sad thoughts bled into almost my entire freshmen year causing me to be disstracted and left me with an 78% average for that year. Moving onto sophomore year, i got my first job working at a pizzeria and got my overall average to a 90.16%, moving forward from that i learned that my goal in life is to become an millionaire by going into international business. I stepped up my game over the summer and started junior year with 2 jobs working an average 45 hours a week. i currently have a 92% average as a junior and take 3 dual enrollment college courses with all high 90s in them, i took 2 other dual enrollment courses, one in freshmen year getting me 3 credits and another sophomore year getting me 4 credits, the total of credits this year i’m obtaining is 12 so overall il have 19 college credits by the end of this year, i’m planning on ending the year with a 93% average and i even have a 100% average in algebra two, i’m trying score a 2100 at least on my sats next fall of senior year. working two jobs gives me only one day off a week, its not even on the weekend either, its just a wednesday. I want colleges to look past my freshmen year and see how much i’ve accomplished. I take so many classes that i don’t have any study halls/free periods or even a lunch period, just non stop classes each day. i’m planning on applying to penn state university park, pace university in manhattan, the ohio state university, syracuse university and a few others, do i have a chance? please give me some feedback as soon as possible, thank you. Also i have ADHD and suffer from servere anxiety that has limited my academic performance. I specialize in business classes and am on the business honor society and honor roll for this entire year and 3 quarters of sophomore year, i’m certified in financial literacy and have leadership development seminar done for my resume. Thanks!

I think colleges will really appreciate your improvement! When they see that you haven’t just had mixed grades all of high school but instead continuously gotten better, it’ll be good. Id study hard for the SAT and volunteer for charities/participate in clubs if you have time. otherwise you look like you have pretty good chances. good luck!

thank you! i appreciate it very much so, i mean working more then just full time while attending high school is a good accomplishment in my books, hoping for others feedback

College will appreciate your efforts and improvements IF AND ONLY IF you don’t say “I want to be a millionaire”.
It’s not bad to be one at all but it’s REALLY bad to say “my goal is millionaire” to their faces straight.

so do not say my goal is to be a millionaire? okay got it, thanks for the tip!
