College Admissions Committee Video

Has anyone seen or heard about a video showing a college admissions committee in session? I'd appreciate any resources for something like this.

"NewsHour with Jim Lehrer" examines the admission process at Amherst. View a short segment that aired on PBS in June 2004.

<a href="http://www.amherst.edu/admission/%5B/url%5D">http://www.amherst.edu/admission/</a></p>

there's one about williams that i also think was on jim lehrer, but further back. they showed it to us in school, i'm sorry i can't remember more.

Oh I remember that Video.. Im scared.. LOL

PBS Frontline: Secrets of the SAT

This video is of an undergraduate admissions screening session at the University of California, Berkeley with top readers. Each application gets at least two reviews in the reviewing process before the final decision.

This session which FRONTLINE videotaped is slightly edited and focuses on how the readers assess the academic and personal strengths of each candidate.

Start the Video

You'll need RealPlayer G2 to view this clip.

This is great information that I've been looking for, for a long time! Thanks!

The videos mentioned above are fine, but if you want even more insight, I'd recommend reading "The Gatekeepers" by Jacques Steinberg. Although it's based specifically on the admissions process at Wesleyan University (CT), it addresses questions and issues common to all admissions committees.
