College admissions concern: are my extracurriculars good enough?

I am approaching my junior year in high school and am starting to get REALLY stressed out about getting into colleges, as I am looking into competitive universities.

I know you are supposed to have various extracurriculars and talents with like 1 or 2 key pursuits that you have invested a ot of time and passion into, and i dont think i have that... is it too late to initiate it?

My GPA unweighted its a 3.92, going into Junior year

I am interested in english, history, art, political sciences, and international relations.

Interesting thing about me: i lived in Mexico for 2 years as a white person, have been a vegetarian for 7 years, will be doing volunteer work in Thailand next summer

I have 2 sports each year- diving and track&feild
student council
various community service clubs (Go Beyond, Hands for Hope, Brothers Keeper)
9 years in girl scouts, completed gold award
class board and National Honors Society (as well as the Spanish Honors Society)
I am actively involved in church and my youth group
AP Art, art club, and my school's art and literary magazine
Volunteer regularly at local animal shelter

Do my extracurriculars back up my interests and show who I am? What should i try to focus on as one of my key pursuits? should i narrow anything down or build anything up?

First, it’s never too late for anything!

and a 98 GPA? Pat yourself on the back. Excellent job! And that’s unweighted… wow.

It’s good you know your interests, try to emphasize those in what you do.

Wow, you’re very wordly. MAke the most of your experience and Thailand and then when you apply to college talk about how it changed you.

Your extra cirriculars are marvelous, but make sure in them you emphasize your interests and passion so that colleges know you’re doing this to help others and because you enjoy it, not just to look good.

Great job! Keep up the great work!

Yea, I’ve always wanted to live in Mexico as a white person. Certainly not as an Asian though. That would be awful.

Just kidding, I had to tease about that though.

I think colleges will understand if you try different things and don’t have one passion yet. After all, you’re only in High School.
