Read through the pinned post in this subform called “what is a good college essay.”

Think about what you want the admissions officers to know about you. What makes you, you? Why would you be a great addition to their campus?

There are also lots of websites with examples of good college essays. Johns Hopkins has some: Essays That Worked | Johns Hopkins University Admissions

Don’t be afraid to write a draft or two, or three. Then have a trusted teacher read it to give feedback.

Some options include:

Asking a question;

Beginning a discussion.
