<p>I emailed a dozen or so small lacs, just to
info@admissions, several weeks ago. Just asking
them to send my D a viewbook. I got all kinds of
responses - a number of colleges put me on some
kind of mailing list, a couple gave me a name and
password to my own account. One refused to send
anything until I joined their mailing list. Several indicated
they would send her a viewbook. So far almost a
month later only one college actually managed to put
one in the mail. So much for college marketing.</p>
