Holy Cross-good physics major and school is SAT optional.

Many schools now offer multiple different testing options. You can submit the ACTs, the SATs or three SAT subject tests at many private universities. You can take the SATs again, but if you’re grades, activities, essays, recommendations, etc. are your highlights, then there is no reason to. A 2000 or above on the SAT pretty much is the bottom of the middle 50% of most top-tier colleges, and for many schools test scores aren’t an extremely important factor for admission. Use collegeboard and princetonreview’s online college search tools to help you! Here are some personal recommendations though (note: I’m not looking to go into physics, so this won’t be the greatest list. I recommend using the college search tools above):
Tufts
Boston College
Holy Cross
Wesleyan
Oberlin
