When applying to college's will they look at your behavior record? Because during my freshman year of high school a lot of bad things were put on it and i just don't want it to affect my admissions.

Bad things? Like what? Lunch detention? Detention? Cutting classes? Skipping school? Tardiness? Suspension? Expulsion?

How severe is it?

it was a suspension and Saturday school for sexual harassment. but it was really dumb and only because i made fun of this guys belt buckle in the locker room and said i was talking about something else when i really didn’t.

depends on the college, but yeah, they’ll see it and even if it doesn’t hurt you a lot, it’s definitely not going to help. sorry!

Someone told on you for that? Lol, lame.

^yeah i know

and @iluvpiano what do you mean depends? will some look, while others won’t care?

The common app (and I imagine most individual college apps) require you to list any suspensions and explain them. Generally, a contrite response that emphasizes what you learned from the experience is considered most helpful. It does no good to “forget” to list a suspension, since it will almost certainly appear on your transcript.

i just mean that some colleges will care more than others, so how much it will affect admissions for you will depend on the college
