College advice would be great!

I posted this in college chances realizing I should've put it here.... Whoops!

Hey!

I was hoping to get some recommendations on what schools would be a good fit for me. I'm not concerned with rank or prestige, rather I'm looking for a school that would fit my needs.

First off, I'm from Washington State and attend an Online School because my family moves constantly due to my parents work. I just thought I'd mention that if it would impact everything. So far, I'm applying to the University of Washington, University of Pittsburgh, University of Vermont, and Texas A&M.

The type of school I'm looking for is something up North (I like colder weather) preferably, but I'm open to other locations. I'm going to be majoring in Nursing, so it'd be important for the college to have that major. I would like to add some smaller private schools to my list which is why I'm asking on here since I have all public universities!

Any help would be great, thank you.

As for my statistics:

GPA: 3.91

of AP's Taken: 7

of Honors Taken: 3

SAT Score: 2220
Top 5% of Class

Extracurriculars:
National Honor Society- 3 Years and Vice President
Debate- 1 Year
Tutor- 2 Years
School Speaker- 3 Years (Spoke at school events, etc)

Are your parents ok with paying OOS tuition? What are they saying about how much they’ll pay each year?

Nursing can be very hard to get into at some schools, because it’s often impacted.

You would get free tuition for four years at Alabama with your stats, and it does have an excellent College of Nursing with a brand new gorgeous bldg with state of the art equipment. It has a simulation center with robotic “patients” that are programmed to have have various symptoms, trauma conditions, etc, to test nursing skills and so forth. These are adult and baby sized (BabySIM) “robots”.

http://nursing.ua.edu/

The College of Nursing is very well funded with lots of additional scholarships as well.

The students have a 99-100% passing rate on the national exam NCLEX-RN.

For a private option, look at the University of Pennsylvania. It’s the only Ivy League school with an undergraduate nursing school. Penn financial aid will meet full need.
