College And one's future,

Ok so I am a high school senior with great grades and good extracurriculars, however my problem is deciding on where to go next year. I want to study International Affairs or Area Studies as my major. I want to know how important reputation is to future jobs/grad schools.

My first top choice is Kennesaw State University in GA. This isn't a well established school but it has been growing extremely fast, offers my major of choice, and is very affordable. Also, due to my AP/IB classes i would get to skip a lot of General Education classes and get to the good stuff faster.

My second choice is Emory University in Atlanta. Extremely well established but i leave with more debt and wont have the funds to study abroad as much as i would at kennesaw.

So in essence, my dilemma is on how important a school's reputation is to my future. I would enjoy going to either school but the factor in play is reputation. Would the massive weight that the Emory name carries be more important that skipping the early classes and saving money? Im extremely conflicted here.
