How much weight do colleges like stanford or dartmouth give to your PSAT score? How important is it?

I am pretty sure that they don't get to see your PSAT scores. I think the only way that it matters is if your like a national merit finalist etc.

The only time your PSAT scores would matter would be if you made National Merit, Commended, National Achievement, National Hispanic as a result of those scores. That would matter to the colleges that care about such things (and the very top colleges don't care because most of their applicants got such honors or could have gotten such honors if they hadn't missed the test or had an unusually bad testing day.)

Otherwise, colleges don't care and they don't see or ask for your PSAT scores anyway.

Most colleges do care about SAT/ACT scores, however.
