<p>I am a little bit confused on this whole college app. essays. I mean, what are the topics, are they different for different colleges? How many essays do we have to write (two, right?)? Finally, most important of all, XD what topics are for Harvard application?</p>

<p>first of all you would probably use the common application which most colleges use. For this, you will need one essay, <500 words, that can be any topic you choose. They give you some ideas for topics, but you can always choose your own.</p>
<p>Then, for different colleges, they will require different essays. The colleges will put their essay topics online (probably August 1?) These are the college “supplemental” essays. They vary in length and topic by college.</p>
