I recently asked my counselor for a fee wavier for college apps, but she said that she will not give me one because she said that in order to recieve one I would have to take the SAT again which is something I dont want to do. Is this true, and if not how can I convince her to give me a fee waiver. I took the SAT's already in OCT and used the fee waiver. I thought that all you have to do is ask your counselor for a fee waiver and that it had nothing to do with taking the SAT's again. Thanks for help guys.

thats completely...untrue.

my counselor is using NACAC fee waivers for about 6 or 7 of my 10 colleges

Are the NACAC fee waivers out yet?

If we complete the NACAC fee waivers do we send it to the admissions office by ourselfs by mail or do we do some other procedure. Also would it be okay just to ask my counselor to sign the NACAC form, but she sounds reluctant to help me on this issue.

My counselor told me the same thing but when I called the admissions office of the school I was applying to, they told me that I had to go back to the counselor and let them know that I don't have to take the SATs again in order to receive a waiver. The counselor was hesitant at first, but finally agreed. Try calling the admissions office and make sure you don't need to take the SATs again (some schools do things differently) and if they say no, then go straight to your counselor and tell them that. They'll eventually listen.
