Hi, so for my csu applications i had put down for my regular course classes as IB courses. I honestly didnt know that thinking that it was ok. Now i believe im screwed im afraid idk whats going to happen or whats heard of happenings like this. Once those college receive my transcript will they most likely throw my application away since i put down different course names
@Trusd14 - The best way to deal with a mistake is to acknowledge it and address it. I work with college students and I would say a major source of their academic problems is avoiding dealing with failures and mistakes in a timely way. Here is what I suggest: go back through your application and identify all mistakes carefully. Make a list of the errors and create a corrected version, as appropriate. If you are not detail oriented, have a friend or family member check it so you avoid any further mistakes. Call the admissions office at the schools to which you applied, explain your error, and ask to whom you should send the corrected version. If at all possible, CALL, do not just email. Show a seriousness of purpose in addressing the mistake and you will likely be okay.
