<p>Is there a set sequence of steps in the college application process? I'm only asking this because my school sends transcripts to all colleges by oct 1st, but I still want some more time to work on my essays. Do I need to submit my application before anything else? How would a college file my transcript/recs if they are submitted before my application?</p>
