College apps: the new form of torture

I spend five hours finishing a supplement from a school. I proofread it twice for another two hours and finally submit it. So after seven hours, I'm burnt out for the day after finishing one college. Then I realize that I've got to do the same thing over for five more colleges over the next month and a half, which only means 15 days because there's no way to do college apps during the weekdays. I swear, this sucks balls!

Sorry, I just needed to vent my anger.

lol I wrote one supplement essay for 10 of my 11 colleges. I had to write specific ones for Stanford though.

Common app > all

I wrote 2 essays total for 5 different applications.

If you’re applying to six reaches you should’ve known what you were getting yourself into.

I’ve been able to find ways to tweak essays so that I can use them multiple times.

Hell I didn’t even need to write an essay for Virginia Tech. Just a short thing about why my grades in the second half of 10th grade sucked.

Wish I had gone there :/

luckies. I am applying to 11 schools (which is a lot, but not a legendarily number) and I have to write a new essay for each one :[

you proofread for 2 hours?

i proofread mine for 15 mins and im done. Dont worry too much …

It’s not a new form of torture. It is a time honored proven, effective form of torture.

Did I say I was applying to 6 reaches?

I’ve only done 4 out of my twelve schools and my mom wants everything done by December 1. It’s gonna be a long 18 days.

^Pretty much same here. My deadline is Christmas break though, so I have 2x as much time, but my mom wants me to do all this other stuff too, and not do anything fun until I’m done.
