College asking for Senior Grades?

I have applied to Colgate University. It is saying my transcript has been received, but not my Senior Grades. Does this refer to the MidYear Report? My school transcript should include my first quarter senior grades on them. Can someone clarify for me!? Thanks!

When your mid yr report is ready, your HS will send it in. It’s their responsibility. You don’t have to do anything. When you choose which school you’ll attend, your HS will send in your final grades. Again, nothing for you to act upon

Your transcript is probably through junior year. Agree with above post; they are waiting for your midyear report which your school should send once its ready. Check with you GC if you’re still concerned.

Definitely follow up with Guidance counselor. Confirm date you’re report cards come out, and then email college with date.

OP doesn’t have to do any of this. The HS will do this for the OP and every other single college applicant senior.

That’s not necessarily true - for example my high school requires that, if you want to send a mid-year report, you have to turn in a new transcript request form for each school you want to send a transcript to. It’s not done automatically. OP should definitely check with GC, just so that they are sure about what the procedure is for midyear transcript reporting.

Same here. I have to file a separate request at my school with the guidance office (I actually just did this yesterday) in order for Mid-Year reports to be sent out. They won’t actually be sent out from my school until mid-February, but it’s nice to have one less thing to worry about. Just send your GC a friendly email asking how the reporting of mid year grades works at your school.
