I’m auditioning for Marymount Manhattan for their Musical Theatre (I’m both excited AND nervous – it’s my top college!) programs and I need a 16 bar uptempo piece and a 16 bar ballad. I’m having trouble finding pieces that AREN’T overused because while I do want to use songs that show off my skills, I don’t want to do something that’s TOO popular. My range is G3 - C6. My best belting range area is A4 - D5, and after that it’s in my head voice. I’m looking to show off without being redundant for the judges, and any suggestions will help. Thanks!
